Controls Link has implemented thousands of automation and controls services since our inception in 1990. Traditionally projects have included PLC design and programming. But our expertise spans from the instrument specification to knowledge of process to make sure that the higher end of PLC/SCADA/and higher levels work together and efficiently. Our Level I, II, and III automation and controls expertise spans the following industries including water and waste water, boilers, material handling systems, process chemicals, automotive, oil and petrochemical. Controls Link, Inc. provides hosting SCADA systems for our own best of class Controls Link, Inc. 4700 PLC and Skyview SCADA system. We also maintain systems, especially those we install and our own 4700 with Skyview, but also maintain other systems as we remain a neutral system integrator. |

Controls Link, Inc. became LEED work certified in 1999, long before “being green” was cool. In 1999 people questioned if “this green thing” would ever take off...there’s a much different perspective today, right? We utilize a systematic approach (formula) to provide green services. Our early investments in green designs and green initiatives have paid off with important LEED commissioning work including complex projects such as the CONSOL NHL Penguins Arena and National Defense Bio labs. But it doesn’t have to be complex; green is meant to be affordable and it generally pays a return on investment in a short time frame—often within one year. |

Power & Energy including Arc Flash |

Arc Flash Controls Link has implemented hundreds of ARC flash studies and electrical safety projects; including plant power design and LOTO safety procedures. We utilize our methodology to provide an arc flash study done correctly per code and meeting the best standards for your facility. We do not sell equipment, so our engineers recommend on existing equipment so as to not need to replace equipment but work with what is there. Also we provide the field work, detailed study, engineering summary, and site specific safety training. To our knowledge, no one else; including the big guys offer this service. And unlike the big guys we are not trying to hock equipment.

Power & Energy From pole runs outside facilities including incoming power, building distribution, MCC’s, and lighting we do traditional electrical engineering with a real world approach. Sadly this expertise is missing from many facilities and was often overlooked with bad results in years past by others; Controls Link has been providing electrical power and design engineering since our inception in 1990. We have worked as a part of your team to ascertain the power needs on a preliminary through ownership occupation basis. Power and important and often overlooked. |
